Wye Valley Aviation operate a Lindstrand 240. This 240,000 cubic feet balloon is capable of carrying eight passengers up to a height of 10,000 feet.

Flights last about an hour - though you should allow up to four hours for the whole trip. We usually fly in the early morning or just before sunset. This is generally when the wind is lightest.

After landing and packing away the balloon, passengers celebrate their flight with a glass or two of Champagne and then return to the take-off site by a four wheel drive vehicle.

The cost of a flight is £165 per person including vat.
